How Synister Speed sweepstakes winners are selected

One of the most common questions we receive is: “How does Synister Speed choose a winner?”

The direct answer is that Synister Speed does not personally choose the winner. The potential winner is selected through a random drawing administered by Shared Sweeps LLC, subject to the Official Rules for that promotion.

Step 1: The entry period closes

Each promotion has an official start time and end time. Entries received outside that period are not eligible unless the Official Rules expressly state otherwise. The administrator processes entries submitted through the permitted purchase and no-purchase entry methods.

Step 2: Entries are reviewed for eligibility

Entries must satisfy the Official Rules. Duplicate entries beyond stated limits, automated submissions, incomplete information, fraud, chargebacks or other rule violations may affect eligibility. This review protects eligible entrants and the integrity of the drawing.

Step 3: The random drawing is conducted

Shared Sweeps LLC conducts a computerized random drawing from all eligible entries in the applicable entry pool.

Every eligible entry in that drawing has the same chance as every other individual eligible entry. A person with more valid entries has more chances in the drawing, but no number of entries guarantees a win.

The exact odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received, as stated in the Official Rules.

Step 4: The selected entrant becomes a potential winner

Being selected does not immediately make someone the confirmed winner. The administrator contacts the potential winner using the information supplied with the entry and begins verification.

The potential winner may need to provide:

• Proof of age, identity and eligible residency

• A completed affidavit or declaration of eligibility

• Tax forms or information required by law

• A liability and publicity release where permitted

• Other documentation required by the Official Rules

The potential winner must respond within the deadline stated in the notification or Official Rules. If the person cannot be contacted, is ineligible, does not complete the required documents, or declines the prize, an alternate potential winner may be selected according to the Official Rules.

Step 5: The winner is confirmed and the prize is fulfilled

After verification is complete, the person is confirmed as the winner. Synister Speed and the administrator then coordinate the prize-selection and fulfillment steps described in the rules. Vehicle delivery may require title processing, transportation arrangements and other documentation. Cash-option timing and payment method are governed by the applicable rules.

Can an employee or friend be selected?

Can Synister Speed change the winner?
